They say that seeing a painting is like looking into the eyes of its maker. It speaks his deepest thoughts and passions. That claim has a certain truth in it.

Walking down the long corridors of Prado was a breathtaking experience for me. I was awed as I passed from one masterpiece to another. Every room had a surprise. I saw the works of Velasquez, El Greco, Murillo, Zurbaran, Goya and other famous painters.

I spent half a day touring the museum. It was an enriching experience. There were just so much art, culture, and history all over the place.
